Kia ora, my name is Danielle Sowden and I am a classroom teacher here at Feilding Intermediate. 

 

I started at FIS in 2020 and feel incredibly lucky to be a part of this amazing school community.

 

One of my favourite things about working with this age level is seeing students developing their own sense of self and personal identity. I believe this is a huge part of the learning process and I really enjoy getting to see our tamariki make these strides. I am particularly passionate about the arts and social sciences and love exploring these within my classroom.

 

When not at school, I spend my time making art or being outside, gardening, hiking and spending time with my two dogs.
